KoiKoiUg Trip Terms and Conditions.

  1. About Koikoi Uganda
Derived from a local lingua storytelling opening line, “koyi koyi”, Koikoi Uganda is an initiative by Ugandans to enable creative Ugandans and lovers of Uganda to tell authentic Ugandan stories from personal experiences of the different parts of this beautiful country. In order to facilitate this personal touch to one’s story and experience, Koikoi trips are budget trips to give an opportunity to just about anyone to contribute to this story.
Koikoi Trips are fundamentally undertaken over three (3) days and two (2) nights over the weekend to cater to working class Ugandans who take part in them. Exceptions to this duration apply to trips to some of the farthest areas of the country from Kampala City which are taken over long weekends that include public holidays.
  2. Partners
The trips are partially sponsored by Airtel Uganda and Vivo Energy the Shell Fuel licensee in Uganda as our road partner. The sponsors cover part of the cost of the trip and may require the travelers to participate in their commercial campaigns such as using a specific hashtag during and after the trip.
